These prints were inspired by the RISD museum’s Inherent Vice exhibition.
My prints depicts a child’s dream feast. Thinking about the working class and its correlation with breadwinners, I thought of my own hardworking parents. I thought about the dinner table my parents provided for my brother and I which developed into a child’s dream feast as they are unaware of their living situation.
The dissapearings lines, the fading colors, and the imagery is meant to give a sense of nostalgia and happiness. It is a documentation of a memory and how memories fade and morph over time.
